Interactive audio visual installation for Midburn Festival
PROCESS :
The concept was to build a real-time musical and visual interaction between three random participants. The installation consisted of three “stations,” each controlling a different musical element—rhythm, melody, and bass. Together, the participants would shape and perform a living musical composition.
Each station allowed intuitive control over several parameters, giving users the ability to influence the collective sound and visuals in harmony with others. The system was designed to be fully accessible, enabling anyone, regardless of musical background, to take part in a creative and playful sonic dialogue.
Summary :
HEXAGON invited spontaneous collaboration, transforming participants into co-creators of sound and light. Through simple yet expressive interaction, strangers connected in rhythm and emotion, experiencing the joy of collective creation. The result was a constantly evolving composition that reflected the spirit of the Midburn community, creativity, and shared presence.
