DESCRIPTION :
Recorded a sound library which documented holy places for christians, muslims and jews.
PROCESS :
Coexist was conceived as a professional field recording journey to capture the unique acoustic environments of the Holy Land, with the goal of providing authentic ambience recordings for sound designers, composers, and filmmakers worldwide.
The project required meticulous planning and research. I mapped key sacred locations significant to Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, including synagogues, mosques, churches, and surrounding public spaces, to ensure balanced cultural and geographic representation. Each site was scouted in advance for optimal recording conditions, taking into account time of day, natural reverberation, and ambient noise patterns.
Using stereo microphones, I recorded extended ambience sessions that captured both environmental texture and spatial depth. Wind-isolated rigs allowed for clean recordings in dynamic outdoor and urban conditions. Each session was logged with precise metadata, ensuring that future users could easily integrate these sounds into professional projects.

Summary :
Coexist is a curated sound library documenting the sacred and everyday soundscapes of the Holy Land. Recorded with professional field techniques across Jewish, Muslim, and Christian environments, the collection offers authentic ambiences rich in texture and cultural depth. Designed for post-production use, it enables sound designers to embed real-world spirituality and atmosphere into their work.
